Jwin Jxcd4300 Review
I gave this Jwin Jxcd4300 a three star rating because it is a basic "no-thrill" small desktop unit. The advertisement truthfully depicts all the aspects of this unit. It is a good unit for its price. If you are in the market for a better sound system, quality components, and the extra "bells and whistles", you might be disappointed with this unit. Overandall, it serves our purpose.
Look out--eats cassettes
We purchased this for my daughter, who takes voice lessons and has to practice using a cassette tape recording of her previous lesson. Yes, the cassette player is the most important part for us.
Well, she has only used it a handful of times, and now it eats every cassette tape we put in it. This is extremely frustrating. I tried contacting the manufacturer, but my email was ignored.
I'm now looking onto buying a whole new system, just for the cassette player. Ridiculous.
Somewhat Above Average
While this unit works well for the price, I was interested in using it powered from the AC line. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a cord and the socket for the AC line is not a common type. Luckily, I had an old TV cord that I could use. Also, I would much rather that the unit had a digital tuner. The tuner dial is rather small as are the button labels, which makes it hard to read. However, after one gets used to the various quirks, this should not be a problem. I didn't try to record but don't expect that to be an issue. All in all, it's not a bad buy for the money.
