AWESOME!!!
After searching for a while for a stereo I came across this one. The price was great and I couldn't pass it up. The stereo looks great and sounds even better. There is nothing else needed to hook your ipod up to it, and with the remote that comes with the system you are able to controll every aspect of your ipod very easily and not have to get up and go to it. The remote enables you to controll the sub volume as well as all the stereo settings. I'm extremely happy that I got this stereo and would recommend it to anyone.
Great sound in a small package
The price on this unit and it's features are the first items that drew me to this audio package. The plug-in feature for an ipod makes it a cut above. I love the ability to control the ipod from the remote. The unit displays the name and album being played on MP3 from the CD but not from the ipod(?). Outstanding sound and bass quality in a small audio unit. The sound fills a large room when (if) you crank up the volume.
Good value-Kids love it
This is a big item. The four parts are large but can be separated. Unfortunately, the speaker wire for the subwoofer is too short to really go very far so on both of the systems I purchased I had to add wire to put them on the floor where I wanted.
The rest of the setup is easy. The remote is functional but not intuitive. The speakers boom, boom, boom. The FM reception is good and the many features have not been utilized yet but I'm sure they will be.
These were for the kids' rooms and they have been big hits. We compared to the big Sony units and liked the JVC better. We haven't been disappointed.
